A mixer tap, the Franke Aqua130 or Aqua134 is an attractive piece which allows both hot and cold water to be connected direct.Ā The user adjusts the temperature lever on the side of the tap for their own comfort. The difference in models is a choice of battery or mains power source. A theft proof aerator with integrated flow regulator assist a low water flow rate of 6 lpm, ideal for water saving during each use. Made from brass with a solid polished chrome plated finish, it comes complete with durable, vandal resistant properties.
The maximum water temperature can be set at the mixer lever. The temperature can also be fixed and the mixing lever completely removed via a conversion set. This is a great safety feature, as well as allowing for control of energy savings.
For peak performance the recommended water pressure used with this tap is 3 bar. However, thereās a degree of flexibility to suit a host of locations with a minimum and maximum water pressure range between 1bar and 10bar.
A hygiene flush clears out any stagnant water left in the system after a period of 24hours of non-use.Ā This 10 second flow can be set on or off depending upon the locationās requirements.
The sensor can be programmed to detect either a static or a moving object. This allows for specific differences in washroom locations for things like reflections from washbasins.
The tap will show information such as status of the hygiene flushing and last flush-process in hours.Ā Idea for facilities managers to monitor servicing requirements.
To prevent vandalism and misuse, the tap will only run for 60 seconds of continuous activation.
